Opened in 1989 and located adjacent to Xaviar's in Piermont, The Freelance Café & Wine Bar is always bustling with an attractive group of regulars, enjoying both the food and convivial atmosphere. This more casual sibling of Xaviar's in Piermont is an excellent combination of American Cafe Style, French Bistro and Italian Trattoria. This Art Deco Bistro and Wine Bar offers an exciting menu of small and large plates, allowing diners the possibility of tasting. The small, yet bustling dining room and bar is overseen by the charming Ned Kelly. Specials are offered daily, as well as an ever-changing list of wines by the glass (in addition to our award-winning wine list).
